The facelift has seen the arrival of new restaurants, cafés and bars which will be joining fine dining heavyweights Il Centro, Cha Cha Char and Aria. Work has included enhancing the entrance, creating new alfresco dining areas and opening up the Eagle Street frontage to create further outdoor entertaining space.

As the hottest new addition to Brisbane’s dining and bar scene, Saké will be serving up contemporary Japanese fare created by sushi guru Shaun Presland. While the Japanese-trained Shaun will oversee both the Brisbane and Sydney restaurants as executive chef, the Eagle Street Pier operation will place Shinichi Maeda, formerly of Wasabi in Noosa, as head chef.
